This is obviously a follow-up to the frozen pond pic. There was no wind at all. If you look, you can see the pond itself wasn't frozen. The weeds in the foreground are a nice touch, don't you agree? Just behind the whitest weeds, between the big tree in the center and the tree to its left, there's a thin brown bar. That bar, if you can see it, is the beaver dam.
