Man, you've gotta love "dollar stores," doncha? I got this neat glass marble-n-copper hummingbird at a store called "Dealz" here in Springfield. It's stuck into the dirt of my pond. There's this one weird little finchling who likes to sit on it and sway in the wind. The green hook visible behind it is part of my drip system -- I hang a gallon jug, punctured with a needle, from the hook, and water drips into the pond below. Our house doesn't have any external electrical outlets, so when I need electricity out there, I've got to run a honking big extension cord from the inside of the garage, through my storage room, and out into the yard! Hence the reptile-watering system for the pond....
