|2 medium potatoes, cubed||1 8-ounce can of clams, drained|
|1 bunch green onions, chopped||2 cups milk|
|1 teaspoon butter or margarine||salt and pepper to taste|
Place the potatoes in a medium pot and cover with water. Cook for 30 minutes, or until soft. Remove from heat, drain, and mash lightly with a fork. They should be lumpy, but no longer in cubes. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
